P.A. Automation GmbH, a company specializing in special machines, robot systems and automation systems, was looking for a precise solution for the height adjustment and alignment of copper sheets in winding technology. The company turned to ZIMM.

In close cooperation with our sales representative Jorge Mondragón Abal and the design engineer Julian Schroth from P.A. Automation GmbH, an innovative winder and unwinder for sheet metal in electroplating technology was developed. This system is capable of efficiently processing sheets weighing 4 tons and 4 mm thick by passing them through various coating baths and then rolling them up for further processing.

Four ZE-25-SL screw jacks are used for optimum height adjustment and alignment, supplemented by precisely fitting attachment parts. An integrated height sensor ensures that the inclination between the reels is never more than 60 mm.
