In the search for a solution for ‘sensitive’ lifting movements for separating round steel sections, Stahlwerk Annahütte Max Aicher GmbH & Co. KG focussed on efficiency and ergonomics for its employees.

By using ZIMM screw jacks of type ZE-25-RL with support tubes not only was a solution found, but a benchmark was also set for a precise, reliable and cost-effective alternative to pneumatic systems. This innovative application not only simplifies work but also enhances productivity in the workflow.

Thanks to the mechanical movements of our lifting system, the feed table can be adjusted in the millimetre range and the steel rods with a coil weight of up to two tonnes can be rolled away and transported individually.
