In the village centre of Sarnthein in South Tyrol (Italy), ZIMM hoist gears ensure that a gathering place for visitors to the town can be transformed into a public stage for concerts and events in no time at all.
When closed, the lowered stage roof integrates itself into the town centre and acts as an extension of the square with rows of seats that invite residents and tourists to stay. Five ZE-150-SN screw jacks with VWZ-80 connection technology and mechanical safety devices as well as two 30 kW motors turn the gathering place into a theatre stage in just under two minutes when required. The modern orchestra shell also features lighting elements and an audio system.
The project was realised in 2022 by Larcher Maschinenbau in Lana (South Tyrol) in collaboration with our field sales representative Michael Aberer. The Customer has been relying on ZIMM’s fast and reliable support for several years now. The ensuing friendly relationship has made us the main supplier for Larcher in the field of hoist gear technology.
