The International Trade Fair for Specialised Mechanics (MECSPE) attracted almost 60,000 visitors to Bologna (Italy) in March. For ZIMM, one of more than 2,000 exhibitors, it has a special significance every year, as Italy is an important and also competitive market. The importance of this leading trade fair for the manufacturing industry was also underlined by the fact that, in addition to the Italian sales team, Managing Director Gunther Zimmermann and Sales Manager Peter Gridling were present as well.
On a modern 64m² stand, however, not only strategies were discussed, but above all our screw jacks and matching attachments were impressively presented. Existing and potential customers exchanged views on specialist topics with our trade fair team and discovered solutions and possibilities with our lifting systems.
“This year’s visit to the trade fair has once again shown how important a local presence at MECSPE is. On the one hand, numerous existing customers approached us regarding ambiguities, but also future developments; on the other hand, we were also able to generate many national and international solution and product enquiries. We are very pleased that we, as an Austrian manufacturer of screw jacks, are now also perceived in Italy and are able to make a correspondingly successful appearance,” says Maurizio Minoja | Sales Manager Italy.
